Quality

Since 2001, the Bonomi bakery has obtained certification of its quality system through the Certiquality body. In 2003 it adjusted its company system to comply with the new version of ISO 9001:2000 standards. Furthermore, since 2006 the company has obtained IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC – GSFS (Global Standard for Food Safety) international standards certification. These standards, required in particular by German and British retailers, respond to the mass market's need to define standards for its suppliers in relation to health and hygiene security, quality and legislative conformity. Certification was obtained with the CSQA body, achieving the highest level for both standards. The factory has an internal laboratory with qualified technical staff, carrying out careful checks and tests in every phase of the production process: from delivery of the raw materials up to the time the finished product is released. In order to guarantee our customers the greatest possible product security in terms of health and hygiene, constant attention is paid to our self-monitoring system, based on the HACCP method and to consideration of new and relevant aspects for security, such as product traceability and management of GMOs and allergens.
